Sarah finds a gourd to provide endless opportunities as an art medium. She takes inspiration from the natural form and creates pieces that maintain an organic energy. Sarah’s love of pottery and woodworking were combined when she started working with hard shelled gourds. With gourds, Sarah can carve, burn, weave and experiment with color and texture.
